Uganda Premier League most following club Onduparaka FC will be seeking to replicate their last season big league form this weekend after dropping crucial points in recent matches.

Onduparaka will be in action against league leaders KCCA FC at Betway Green Light Stadium in the only match to played on Friday(today).

For the first time this season, Livingstone Mbabazi will be on touch line to guide his men who will be without the services of talismanic midfielder Ibrahim Faizul who is recovering from an injury.

The Uganda Cup finalists go into the match aiming for their first win but their opponents with their galaxy of stars will want to still sit on top of the log by avoiding to lose the game.

On Saturday SC Villa will be at Wankulukuku where they will face Lweza FC. SC Villa head coach Deo Sserwanda is expected to field his new signing Faudi Ndayisenga who joins Sc villa from Kenyan Premier league outfit Sofapaka.

“I have played in Burundi,Kenya and Rwanda so I have garnered enough experience to help me play here and I’m looking forward to that to my debut” said Ndayisenga.

On the same day Proline will be up against Bright Stars at the Phillip Omondi Stadium hoping to end their three-match winless streak.

For Proline , the optimism that surrounded the ir return to top league is fast fading and giving way to the grim reality that they have barely won any match .

The are placed 9th position with three points from 3 matches so far. Bright Stars are are four places up but only a point separates them from Proline.

Proline will therefore be looking to pick all three points to turn around their fortunes this season.

Other matches lined up will see The Saints battling with Express FC in Bombo Barracks, while bottom of the table JMC Hippos will welcome URA FC to Jinja’s Kakindu Stadium.

Abdullah Mubiru will lead Vipers SC against BUL FC at the Nakivubo Stadium where they will be hoping to get their second win of the season.

In the meantime, firework galore is expected in the match between Sadolin and Police FC.

Sadolin who are under the tutelage of Abdul Musafiri are on the downward trend lately but whether they have the pedigree to tame the unpredictable Police remains to be seen in a battle to escape from bottom positions on the table for both sides.
