NFF President Pinnick’s Lifeline for Legend Wilson Oruma Working Miracles

​Wilson Oruma  who was once a   focal part of the Nigeria Super Eagles format  is now a happy man as he hopes to have put a string of personal difficulties behind him as he puts his feet back on the coaching ladder at  football management courtesy of Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick who also doubles up as CAF 1st Vice President.

Once flamboyant Oruma  who was in the Super Eagles team that won the Olympics and Africa Cup of Nations and was also the Nigeria U17 captain in 1993 as they won the FIFA U17 World Cup  was left broke and battling depression at one time going completely mad walking in the streets ​​of VGC after he was duped a whopping 3 billion Naira which was all his savings.

“I am sincerely grateful to NFF President Amaju Pinnick he came in as I was going through a tough time in my life but things have changed and I feel happier and more focused in my new role.

“I know things will get better and better as I move to a new phase of my life and doing what I love in football administration.” Wilson Oruma said

However upon hearing of the sad news Amaju Pinnick who has resolved to ensure Nigerian Legends are well catered for four of the finest psychiatrists who completely rehabilitated Oruma whom he then moved to into his own Guest Chalet for seven weeks before renting him and apartment in Lekki as he couldn’t go back to his house in VGV as it was always haunting him with bad memories.

Pinnick ensured that Oruma was appointed as the coordinator of the Nigeria Flying Eagles who are currently camping in Munich Germany as the Legend rediscovers his life in football as he starts life afresh well-rehabilitated and happy being part of the team.

President Pinnick who was with another Legend Christian Chukwu in a London hospital as he received treatment fly directly to Munich where she met the Flying Eagle team and also spent time with a jovial Oruma.
