Nigeria Super Eagles striker and journeyman, Aaron Samuel has signed up with Israeli club, Beitar Jerusalem on a one-year contract with an option of another season.

Samuel has been without a club after leaving Russian Premier League club, CSKA Moscow by mutual consent this summer.

Beitar Jerusalem made the announcement via it’s official twitter handle tweeting:

“He is yellow: Aaron Olanara officially signed for the club until the end of the season with an option for another season,”

Samuel who has previously played for Valarenga, Sarpsborg 08, Amker Perm and CSKA Moscow will wear jersey the squad number 40 at the club and will hope the move will help him relaunch his international career.

Samuel has also played in the Chinese Super League with Guangzhou R&F and featured in the Nigeria Professional Football League for the defunct Dolphins Football Club of Port Harcourt and Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan.

Beitar Jerusalem’s next league game is against Ashdod on Sunday, October 21 and the Samuel will hope to make his debut in the game.

Beitar Jerusalem currently occupy last position in the Isreali Premier League after six round of matches.
