Nine matches will be played across different venues this weekend in the Kenyan  SportPesa Premier League enters Round 25; three on Saturday 4th and five on Sunday 5th August.

Saturday

  1. Chemelil Sugar FC vs Vihiga United – Chemelil – 3PM

15th placed Chemelil Sugar FC will host Vihiga United at the Chemelil Sports Complex on Saturday from 3PM. The home side will be hoping to carry on with another win after edging out Nzoia Sugar FC by a solitary goal while Vihiga United is hoping to bounce back after losing their last match against AFC Leopards. They are 16thon the log with 23 points having played 24 matches.

  1. Kakamega Homeboyz vs Tusker FC – Bukhungu – 3PM

Tusker will be traveling to Kakamega on high spirits after edging out Sofapaka in their last league match played at the Ruaraka Stadium on Monday 30th July. The hosts however will be hoping to bounce back after picking just two points in their last two fixtures. Tusker will however be without defender Eric Ambunya as he is suspended after accumulating five yellow cards.

  1. Nakumatt vs Gor Mahia – Machakos – 3PM

Nakumatt FC will host high-flying Gor Mahia at the Kenyatta Stadium in what will arguably be the highlight of the weekend. Nakumatt have been on the upward trajectory since the appointment of Head Coach Medo Melis and he will be hoping to be the first side to edge out the reigning champions who are yet to lose a match this season and have won eight consecutive matches.

  1. Posta Rangers vs Bandari – Camp Toyoyo – 3PM

Posta Rangers will play host to on form Bandari FC at the Camp Toyoyo hoping to replicate their good show against Wazito in their last outing at the same venue. They are currently 10th on the log and coach Sammy Pamzo Omollo has clearly stated that they intend to register positive results in the remaining matches to ensure to finish in the top 5 category at the end of the season. Bandari will not be an easy nut to crack for the Mail Menas they have been on a roll this season and are currently third on the log with 39 points from 24 matches.

Sunday

  1. Kariobangi Sharks vs Zoo FC – Camp Toyoyo – 11AM

Kariobangi Sharks will host Zoo FC at the Camp Toyoyo in the first match of the day. Zoo will however be without their talismanic forward Nicholas Kipkirui who is set to miss three matches as he is suspended.
