Nkana’s 3 year supremacy over Zanaco halted.

A second half strike by Moses Phiri at Sunset Stadium was good enough for Zanaco to break their jinx against Kitwe giants Nkana FC.

Until Sunday afternoon,Zanaco were yet to beat Nkana in a competitive match since 2012 en-route to their 6th league title.

Victory saw Zanaco reclaiming second position with 49 points,six adrift to log leaders Zesco United who have 55 points.

The tie also marked the return of former Zanaco guffer Aggrey Chiyengi to SunSet Stadium for the first time since joining Nkana.

Chiyengi was dismissed at Zanaco last season after loosing the title to Zesco on the final day and was replaced by his assistant Numba Mumamba.
