Nyasa Big Bullets succesfully defended the Charity Shield after walloping Kamuzu Barracks 3-1at Civo Stadium on Saturday.

Muhammad Sulumba netted a brace with veteran striker Fischer Kondowe scoring the other goal.Mustafa Salim got a consolation for the army men.

Bullets took the lead after 4th minute, when Sulumba lobed KB goalie Amadu Ali before he fired the ball home for the opener.

Sulumba was it again when he connected Fisher Kondowe cross to slot the ball into an empty net arousing thousands of fans at full packed Stadium.

The second half saw KB throw the kitchen at Bullets with the army men putting up an admirable rearguard performance.

And with six minutes into second half , KB found an equalizer when Ernest Kakhobwe fouled an opponent in the box.

The rest of last minutes saw less action between both sides as Bullets stood firm to collect their first silverware of the season.
