Lusaka Dynamos Football Club’s fullback, Joseph Ochaya has been called to the Uganda national team fold for their matches against Ethiopia, Senegal and Cape Verde.

The Cranes have scheduled two friendly matches against Ethiopia and Senegal on 3rd and 6th June respectively before playing Cape Verde in the 2019 Africa Cup of the nations qualifiers on June 10.

The Secretary General of Lusaka Dynamos Football Club, Simata Simata confirmed to soka25east.com that Ochaya is in Uganda on a national team duty.

“He was called up by his federation for all their games. He will be back after the national team engagements”, said Simata.

Meanwhile, Federation of Ugandan Football Association (FUFA) Communications manager, Ahmed Hussein affirmed the arrival of Joseph Ochaya in Uganda.

The former Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) defender has been a starter for the Ugandan Cranes and apparently coach Micho’s favourite left back. He was effective on the synonymous position for his National team at the 2017 Africa Cup of the Nations, in Gabon.
