OFFICIAL: Bandirmaspor confirms Mahatma Otoo’s signing

Turkey’s Bandirmaspor have snapped up Ghana’s Mahatma Otoo from Balikesirspor.

Mahatma Otoo, 28 joined the Ban-Ban club after undergoing a mandatory medical test.

The 5 feet, 11 inches tireless attacker was voted the topscorer of the 2012/2013 Ghana Premier League with 20 goals.

In the past, he played for Hearts of Oak, Sporting Mirren, Norway’s Sogndal and had a unsuccessful stint with Esperance Sportive du Tunis in 2010.

He has 5 caps for the senior national team, Black Stars of Ghana netting two goals.

A statement released on the club’s official website, reads: “Our Bandırmaspor transfer committee continues its foreign transfer activities at full speed. After our committee Del Valle, now he has connected the 28-year-old Mahatma Otoo from Ghana to his colors.”

“The successful right-wing player, who played with 70 goals and 18 assists in 230 matches, contributed to his team with 19 goals and 13 assists in 104 matches in TFF 1st League.”

“Otoo, who played in 5 National Games in Ghana National team, He has played in Mirren, Hearts of Oak, ES Tunis, Sogndal, Ümraniyespor and Balıkesirspor teams.”
