Olympic Qualifier: Cameroon Women begin preparations ahead of crunch fixture against Zambia

By Agnes Amondi,

Cameroon Women are going to camp in preparation of their upcoming Tokyo 2020 Women’s Olympic Qualifier against Zambia in the fifth and final round.

17 year old right back Mireille Tchengang who plys her trade in France with Paris Saint Germaine (PSG), receives her first call up.

The Indomitable Lionesses beat Ethiopia, DR Congo and Ivory Coast en route to the last qualifying round.

On the other hand, Zambia went past Angola, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Kenya to set up a juicy meet against Cameroon.

The first leg will be played in Yaounde on March 5 with the reverse fixture in Lusaka five days later.
The winner of the tie will seal a ticket to Tokyo whilst the loser plays Chile in a continental playoff.
