Sharp forwards Emmanuel Okwi and Hamis Kizza recently returned to the Azam Uganda Premier League after being released by their foreign clubs.

Okwi was released by Danish side Sonderjyske FC while Kizza was released by was released by South African side Free State Stars and immediately joined their former clubs in their mother country on short term contracts that is SC.Villa and URA FC respectively.

The two players have since found their scoring touch netting ten goals in between them from six match each has played with Okwi scoring seven goals for the Jogoos including a hatrick against Onduparaka FC while Kizza scoring three goals for the tax men.

It should be noted that lack of playing time at their foreign clubs cost them a lot a big reason they missed out on the final 23man squad that represented Uganda in the historical AFCON that was held in Gabon in January this year despite being in the set up for some good time.

Currently in the Azam Uganda Premier League, the two seem to have found their scoring boots again something that has really made local football fans very glad.
