Origi named in Belgium squad to face Portugal as big names Miss

Belgium coach Marc Wilmots was forced to leave out injured captain Vincent Kompany,

Jan Vertonghen, Eden Hazard and Kevin de Bruyne from his squad for this month’s
friendly against Portugal on 29th Match in Brussels.

He has however named  Divock  Okoth Origi in a star studded squad that includes  Liverpools Christian Benteke and Liverpools  Romeru Lukaku.

 

Also in the squad is Harzard’s brother Thoreau Harzard’s who plays for  German Bundesliga side Mochengladbach and Manchester United’s Marroune Fellaini.

Surprise inclusion however is Club Brugge  Bjorn Engels who replaces injured Vincent Kompany. This is the players first call

The number of nation according to FIFA rankings are preparing for the EURO 2016 that will take placen June.

Notable absentees are Eden Harvard, injured Vincent Kompas and Kevin De Bruyne.

 

Belgium will open the EURO 2016 account against Republic of Ireland on 18th June, the group has Sweden and Italy.
