Ivory Coast rallied to come from behind by beating Zambia 4-1 in a friendly played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi today.
Zambia took the lead through Fashion Sakala from the penalty spot in the 14th minute but Jonathan Kodjia equalised on the the half hour mark.
Jean Serri then put Ivory Coast 2-1 ahead 3 minutes to half time. Maxwell Cornet continued the comeback with a third goal in the 56th minute before substitute Wilfried Bony pounced on a goalkeeper error to seal a 4-1 win.
Ibrahim Kamara will be delighted to bounce back from the 1-0 loss against Uganda and surely this victory gives his team a morale boost as they begin to prepare for AFCON 2019.
