Football is a demanding Career and its rare to find a footballer doing something else. Well Green Eagles Striker Adamson Mulao is a special player cause not only is he a football player, he is also a Gospel Artist and Song Writer.

Soka25east.com managed to catch up with Mulao just to discuss the development of his career up to date. Mulao is a very talented song writer and as two of the songs he has written have been massive. He is the brains behind Cray Jay’s hit single Chipe and Chileshe Bwalya’s Ambuye Ngenani.

This Season he has been struggling but he promises to work extra hard and do his best to replicate his last season’s form which saw him been picked for national duty for the first time.

Soka25east.com : Good evening and welcome to this interview

Mulao : Good Evening and Thank very much

Soka25east.com:First and foremost just give us a little background of your football life.

Mulao : I started playing football at School of course, then joined bana ba Israel f.c in kamanga compound in super amateur. I was spotted by the late Boniface Simutowe and joined Profound Warriors FC which later became known as Napsa Stars. I have also played for Airport Warriors in Lusaka and luena buffaloes in kaoma .Choma was the next destination and am still with Green Eagles FC up to date.

Soka25east.com : The Coaches impact on a player usually transcends to how they perform on the pitch. Who would you say has had the biggest influence on you among the coaches who you have worked with?

Mulao :It’s just like school. All of them added a part to complete me. They have all been there as coaches doing there best for me.

Soka25east.com :You made your Chipolopolo Debut at the 2015 Chan tournament . How was the experience ? And do you see yourself getting another call up any time soon?.

Mulao : It’s every footballers dream to make his country colours and fly their. Countries flag higher. For the chan tournament it was the beginning of greater things to come and the experience was one of the greatest. I will live with it for the rest of my life.

Soka25east.com : Your Club is just above the relegation zone with just 1 point after having an impressive season last year what do you attribute this to?

Mulao : I can say as a player there things you can understand and know, but on this issue it is being taken care of as we keep on pushing as a team to climb the table to a much better position. Each season is different so I think we are still on course and we shall see where we will end because that’s what matters most.

Soka25east.com : Do you have a team you would like to play for outside Zambia?

Mulao : Definitely dreams do come true. It all depends on what has come in your way and it begins from there. Ones value guides him or her to the destiny

Soka25east.com : Indepence stadium is a fortress. How big is the fans influence on your home games?

Mulao : There are there for us you know, though at times we fail them and that gives a little pressure but all in all we are one family which always wants the best for each other.

Soka25east.com : Do you any interest outside football ?

Mulao : I’m a gospel artist. I started from way back. I wrote cray jays album including tauli ichipe song.Promotion is the problem though 2 songs are on promo now.And even chileshe bwalya ambuye ngenani gospel hit song I did that.

Soka25east.com : Any last words to the fans?

Mulao : Football is life, so we have to make sure we safe guard interest of each other. We all in this for a better you and me. Let’s work together as one despite what we can’t achieve now as we prepare for it tomorrow….together we can achieve success and greatness…….We need each other now than never before.#letGodlead
