Tanzania international Mbwana Samatta has continued his incredible goal-scoring form for Belgium Pro League team Genk.

The 25-year-old found the back of the net for the league leaders in a 1-1 draw against Standard Liege this past weekend for his eighth goal in 11 league appearances this season.

Samatta has scored a total of 17 goals in 19 matches across all competitions for the Blue-White this season, having also netted three goals in three Europa League group stage fixtures.

The former TP Mazembe forward scored a brace for Genk in a 4-2 win away to Besiktas last Thursday, before his goal in Liege.

He has now scored 51 goals in 131 appearances for Genk, who currently lead the way in Belgium with an unbeaten record after 12 matches in the 2018-19 league season.

English Premier League clubs Burnley, Everton and West Ham United have all been linked with a move for the forward in recent times.
