Referee Doka vows comeback after failing exam

By Ezekiel Tanui,

Kenya Prenier League (KPL) and Fifa accredited referee Nassur Doka has said despite failing the mandatory test conducted few weeks ago in Machakos,he will be bouncing back to continue with his career.

Doka who was among six others who failed the test recently admitted he was caught unaware when he was summoned for the test since he had not prepared for the exercise.

‘This is a small issue.I’m going to re-sit the test  again even if it will  force me to travel to Tanzania or outside  the country.I will continue  to serve else where since we have a shortage of referee “he said.

Other top whistlers who cannot officiate any KPL match include the widely travelled and Fifa referee Silvester Kirwa, Andrew Juma, Tabitha Wambui, and Agatha Itigo.

Other victims include Moses Osano, Jabal Mwandawiro and Hassan Omondi. It was a bitter pill to swallow for Wambui who was barred from travelling to Tunisia for a continental fixture after she failed the mandatory test.
