Black Rhinos 3 – 0 Bantu Rovers

Black Rhinos eased into second spot on the ZPSL log with a convincing win over hapless Bantu Rovers in a game played on Friday afternoon at the giant National Sports Stadium in Harare.

In this kick off of the week four in the 2017 calender season, Chahuya Champerere as the Black Rhinos are affectionately called by their legion of fans. Literally meaning The Rhinos have Arrived. True to the phrase the Rhinos indeed arrived to outdo the strategy of hunters in the form of Bantu Rovers.

The marauding Rhinos went into the halftime break leading 2-0 with goals from Milton Kureva in the 30th and ten minutes later Sydney Linyama added the second on the 40th minute mark.

The magic wand of President and now coach Bantu Rovers in Methemba Ndlove could not help the cause in the second stanza.

Chahuya Chipembere had all arsenals in place were determined to thwart at any attempt by their visitors in the second half. Farai Banda put the scoreline beyond redemption for Rovers as he scored in the 74th minute.

Rhinos players’ vision was vital to team performances , picking out good runs that resulted into the three goals.

Rhinos could have added more but were also guilty of poor finishing which made the score stand in 3-0 .
Bantu Rovers toiled for a consolation but the gulf in class between the teams was, ultimately, too great for the new entrants into the league to bridge.

Black Rhinos are now second on the log while Bantu remain 13th and it could be worse as the bottom teams walk on to the pitch on Saturday and Sunday.
