SC Villa bounced back to winning ways by edging out Saints FC, Kirinya Jinja SS shocked pre-match favourites KCCA holding them to one all  draw , Bright Stars edged out BUL while Lweza held Sadolin Paints to another one all draw in Tuesday matches.

SC Villa under new coach Shafiq Bisaso rediscovered their winning formula with a comfortable win, grabbing three points in an entertaining match played at Nambolee.

Alex Kitata and Godfrey Lwesibawa scored the important goals that made the Wankulukuku side return into winning ways.

The result take SC Villa to second position with 15 points

Lweza 1-1 Sadolin Paints

Norman Ogik opened the scoring for the visitors in the first minute after defensive errors by the home side.

In second half Lweza FC made amends when Hassan Kikoyo caught the backline napping to control a high ball for the equalizer.

Kirinya Jinja SS 1-1 KCCA

There was no respite for league reigning champions KCCA as they succumbed to a one all draw.

The Kasasiro boys failed to go past the Alex Isabrye -coached team that fielded six defensive players, their intentions all clear.

Geoffrey Sserunkuma gave KCCA the lead in the 21st minute but it was canceled by Kirinya – Jinja FC’s John Wakalaita a minute later.

Bright Stars 2-1 BUL FC

Bright Stars captain Baker Lukooya gave his team a deserved lead in the 7th minute with an overhead volley that went past BUL goalie Emmanuel Kalyowa.

Titus Tibita levelled matters in the 71st minute when his deflected shot sent Nicholas Ssebwato the wrong way.

Four minutes to the end Joshua Opejo scored from a free kick to seal maximum points for Bright Stars.
