Senegal coach Aliou Cisse announced his final 23 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday.

The squad boasts a string of international players with first choice goalkeeper Khadim Ndiaye being the only one playing in Africa. Most of the other players are based in Europe.

Livepool forward Sadio Mane leads the group that has also key defender Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli and midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate of West Ham.

Cisse’s men will have training sessions next week in Dakar before moving camp to France where they are set to play several friendlies against Lexemborg on May 31,Croatia on June 8 and South Korea on June 11 as part of their preparations for the event.

The Lions of Teranga will open their World Cup campaign against Poland in Moscow on June 19, before travelling to Yekaterinburg to face Japan five days later.

The West Africans conclude their group-stage campaign against Colombia on Samara on June 28 and, should they progress, will face Belgium, England, Tunisia or Panama in the Round of 16
