The Zambian women’s national team is scheduled to play an international friendly with their South African counterparts on 12th August in that country.

The friendly match is part of Shipolopolo’s preparations ahead of the 2017 Cosafa women’s Championship in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, from 13 to 24 September.

The Zambia national women’s team goes into training camp on Sunday, 6th August at FAZ Technical Center.

FAZ General Secretary, Ponga Liwewe made this known in a circular sent to the respectives clubs of the players–requesting their release to join the camp.

“We have the pleasure to inform you that the Cosafa Women’s Championship will be played in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe from 13 to 24 September 2017.

“In preparation, the Zambia Women’s national team goes into residential camp on 6th August, 2017 at FAZ Technical Center.

“We write to request your assistance to release the players on the attached list to join camp on 6th August, 2017. Friendly match on 12 August in South and Cosafa Championship from 13th to 24th September,” he said.
