Abuba Sibomana has re-united with his former side Rayon Sports days after being dropped by Kenyan giants Gor Mahia.

Sibomana returns to the Rwandan Premier League with the Nyanza based side after penning a six month-deal today.

“Done deal; Sibomana Abuba rejoins Rayon Sports for the next six months,” the club confirmed on their twitter page.

The Rwandan international left back joined Gor early 2015 –wining the Kenyan Premier League unbeaten on debut.

He also lifted the KPL Top 8 knockout tournament as well as reaching the CECAFA Kagame Cup final same year.

However, the 2016 season was low key for him and the club, with little playing time coming his way, as they finished the season trophy-less.

And last week his name featured prominently among over seven players the club parted ways with.

His departure gave way for the signing of fellow Rwandan Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza from Azam FC– sealing the KPL foreign quota, which stands at 5 players.
