Sierra Leone head coach  John Keister has announced a list of Thirty Five (35) invited players from both home and abroad ahead of the country’s AFCON Qualifying matches against Ethiopia, Ghana and Kenya consecutively.

Twenty Five (25) players will be selected for each match, out of the list of invited players, as required by the technical team.

Coventry City striker Amadou Bakayoko, Queen Park Rangers defender Osman Kakay, and Bristol City young keeper Alhaji Sesay, are all set to receive their first international call-up by Sierra Leone.

Danish-based attacker Mustapha Bundu, who is trading his football with AGF Arhus has also been named on the list seen by this medium.

Khalifa Jabbie and Gibrilla Wobay get another chance to impress despite both has been without a club. However, both were part of Coach Keister’s side that defeated Kenya in Freetown in the opener of the qualifiers.

Sierra Leone is expected to play against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa on the 9th September, 2018. Afterwards, Leone Stars will take on Ghana in Accra on the 10th October, 2018 and returns home for another clash with the Black Stars in just three days later.
