The newest footballing nation in East Africa and the World South Sudan have made great strides in the latest FIFA World rankings released on 5th November 2015.
In a move that will surprise pundits and fans South Sudan leap froggedTanzania’s Taifa Stars moving to 134th in the ranking as Tanzania who are in South Africa for a 10 day training camp surprisingly dropping to 135th Worldwide.
Uganda remains the highest ranked team in the Cecafa region at 68th while Kenya are 125th,Burundi 107th,Rwanda 96th ,Sudan 128th while Ethiopia is ranked 114th .
Meanwhile Ivory Coast are the highest ranked team in Africa followed by 2.Algeria 26 World 3.Ghana 30 World 4.Cape Verde 32 World 5.Senegal 39
