A delicious football treat is on the offing for grass root fans this Easter weekend of Friday 14-17 April as the second season of Sportpesa Super 8 Premier League enters round 7 across various locations in Nairobi County.

One match will be played on Friday as five others will kick off the following day while Sunday will see only one match taking place as two more will be played on Monday.

FRIDAY

MASA VS SHAURI MOYO BLUE STARS FC (3PM)

Shauri Moyo Blue Stars who are placed 10th on the log will be away to MASA at Makongeni grounds on Friday 14 April seeking to turn around their dwindling fortunes where they have just won one match this year.

Blue Stars who were downed 1-0 at home by Kayole Asubuhi last week will be hoping to get things right this time round when they clash with arch rivals and neighbors MASA who still have a game in hand and sit 5th with 10 points.

SATURDAY

MELTAH KABIRIA FC VS TUK FC (3PM)

Struggling West Conference heavyweights TUK FC take another wild shot at their first league win this season when they travel to Kawangwre Bp grounds to confront west siders Meltah Kabiria FC on Saturday 15 April.

Despite having a game in hand, TUK who are currently languishing at the bottom of the log are having a rough time this term as they were handed their third loss last weekend when they were beaten 4-3 by newbies Macmillan and will be hoping to break the jinx Saturday when they visit Meltah who are just three places above them on the 16-team chart.

Meltah have so far registered mixed results, picking just five points from two draws and one win with the 1-0 away defeat to Ajax Youth last week being their third this season and will seek inspiration from their overwhelming home fans to hit the visitors.

KIAMBIU YOUTH FC VS TEAM UMEME (3PM)

After going down 4-3 at the hands of Kabete United last Sunday, their third loss this term Kiambiu Youth FC will be aiming to recover from the defeat when they invite newcomers Team Umeme at Jericho grounds.

Kiambiu sit 9th on the log having collected 7 points from two wins and a draw while Umeme who were held 0-0 by MASA in their last duty sit three places below their opponents with 5 points and a win will boost them into the top ten.

JERICHO FC VS AJAX YOUTH FC (3PM)

After finally scribing their first win this season last week where they beat Meltah 1-0 at home, Ajax Youth FC will be hoping to carry the same winning formula when they visit Jericho FC at Jericho’s Camp Toyoyo grounds.

Ajax who sit at a distant 11th with six points have an uphill task when they engage the East conference side who are reeling with confidence after outwitting Metro Sports FC 1-0 in their last assignment that placed them 7th with 9 points.

ZAMALEK FC VS KABETE UNITED (3PM)

Newbies Zamalek FC have an uphill task when they tackle a rejuvenated Kabete United at Drive Inn grounds.

Currently sitting at position 8 with 8 points, Zamalek who have won two and drawn two will be hoping to upset the form book of Kabete who are riding high on fine form where they are sitting pretty at third, four points adrift of leaders Kawangware United.

KAWANGWARE UNITED VS METRO SPORTS FC (3PM)

Leaders Kawangware United will be at home seeking to extend the gap at the top to seven points when they clash with wounded Metro Sports FC at Kawangware Bp grounds on Sunday 16 March.
Kawangware who are the only team yet to taste defeat this season have collected 16 points from five wins and a draw with their latest 3-1 win over Ole Rongai Fc Sunday cushioning their lead atop to four points. However, they should be wary of Metro Sports who are still licking wounds of their bitter 1-0 home loss against Jericho that saw them move to 6th with 10 points.

MONDAY

KAYOLE ASUBUHI FC VS NYSA (3PM)

Champions Kayole Asubuhi cross swords with NYSA in a potential electrifying match at Makongeni grounds. Asubuhi are sitting second on the log with 12 points after cruising past Shauri Moyo Blue Stars in a 1-0 score line last week and a win see them cut the gap between them and leaders Kawangwre but should be wary of West conference side who are just a point behind them at fourth.

The rescheduled week 4 match between TUK FC and MASA will be played on Monday 17 April at CID grounds.
