The second leg of the SportPesa Super 8 Premier League continues this weekend with seven matches lined up across different venues on Saturday 9th July
.

JERICHO ALL STARS VS SHAURI MOYO BLUE STARS (3pm)

Potential title hopefuls, Jericho All Stars are hoping to stretch their impeccable form with a home win against fifth-placed Shauri Moyo Blue Stars at Camp Toyoyo.

Jericho have not lost a single match in the second leg placing them at the apex of the 16-team chart with a cool 42 points. The Thomas Okongo led men are aiming to ink their fourth successive win this weekend if they fall their conference rivals who have managed 33 points so far.

The visitors managed to hold the mighty East conference powerhouse 1-1 in the opening leg but have an onerous task to make amends for their sour 2-0 loss to Kawangware United in their previous match.

MASA VS METRO SPORTS (3PM)

MASA welcomes Metro Sports at Makongeni grounds aiming to right their wrongs after the Sportsmen beat them 1-0 in the first leg.

MASA succumbed to their second defeat in the second leg last Sunday after being thrashed 3-0 by Kabete United at City Stadium that placed them 7th with 28 points on the table standings whilst Metro lie three spots above with 34 points.

MELTA KABIRIA VS KIAMBIU YOUTH (1PM)

Kiambiu Youth will be away at BP grounds in Kawangware aiming to collect all the maximum points at the expense of Melta Kabiria.

Kiambiu are currently 9th with 27 points and the last time they clashed, Melta took the spoils in a controversial manner at City Stadium back in March. Melta won the tie 2-1 for their first win in the league and now the East conference side will be in high spirits to overturn the deficit. Melta lie 11th with 24 points.

KAWANGWARE UNITED VS DIGUNA FC (3PM)

Kawangware United welcomes Diguna FC at BP grounds for a chance to leap into the top ten in the league table standings.

Kawangware sit 12th with 22 points and a victory against 6th placed Diguna will be a boost to their campaign. But it will not be an easy task as the visitors are aiming to bounce back from their bitter 1-0 loss to Kabete last Sunday at City Stadium.

Diguna have raked up 28 points and while at home in the first leg, they rallied from a goal down to settle for a 1-1 stalemate with the Kawangware outfit.

KIAMAIKO CITY VS AJAX FC (3PM)

Sixth-placed Ajax FC takes on Kiamaiko City at Huruma grounds.

As expected, Ajax took three points at home after beating the citizens 1-0 at Nakeel grounds in the corresponding fixture and Kiamaiko who are placed 13th with 20 points aim to use the home advantage to claim the revenge.

Ajax on the other hand are eight points ahead of their opponents on the grid.

SHAMAKO BABES VS KAYOLE ASUBUHI (1PM)

Bottom-placed Shamako Babes seeks redemption at home against second-placed Kayole Asubuhi at Huruma grounds.

Shamako are leading from behind with 5 points and they will need more than miracle to down the East conference title chasers who whipped them 2-1 at home back in March.

The Kayole outfit is high on fine form and sits pretty at second position on the table standings with 40 points, two shy of the leaders. They will be in a foul mood to bridge the gap come Saturday.

KABETE UNITED VS BABA DOGO UNITED (3PM)

At the same place, Kabete United takes on visiting Baba Dogo United.

It was a 10-goal thriller the last time these two sides clashed in the first leg as they settled for a five all draw at Baba Dogo grounds and it remains to be seen who will break the other this time round.

With 24 points and sitting 10th on the log, Kabete are favorites to win the match especially after their morale boosting 3-0 triumph over MASA in their last encounter at the weekend.

Baba Dogo on the other side are fraying in the relegation zone in the East conference table standings and sit 14th on the overall table standings with 17 points.
