In a bid to bolster their squad ahead of the second leg of the SportPesa Super 8 Premier League, Kawangware United have roped in new players.

The West conference side are keen to stay on the leagues’ top tier at whatever cost as they have acquired the services of former Intercity midfielder Victor John as well as former Dagoretti Santos left back, Humphrey Ingara who is poised to tighten the screw on the defense when the league resumes on Saturday 11 June.

Confirming the new acquisition, club patron Peter Kariuki, expressed his excitement saying he is confident that the new players will be helpful to steer his side to clinch the coveted #Sps8League title.

The league’s transfer window will be officially shut on the midnight of Saturday 18 June and teams have less than two weeks to complete the signing and registration of new players to their respective teams.

Kawangware finished the first leg at position 12 with 16 points.

Their weakness was defense which let in 27 goals despite scoring a whooping 37 goals.
