South Sudan football Association (SSFA) President Francis Paul Amin has entered the race for Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (Cecafa) Vice President position in the coming elections to be held in Uganda on the 18th December 2019.
The soft spoken SSFA President has received backing for his intentions from many member countries in the region for his vision and mission which has seen South Sudan football grow since taking over from Chabur Goc who was later banned by FIFA for misappropriation of funds meant for football development.
Speaking to www.soka25east.com Francis Paul confirmed his candidature
“Yes its true I have joined the race to be Cecafa Vice President and I belive I have a lot of offer in the position as we collectively seek to improve and ensure Cecafa keeps on growing and developing football in the region”
“I am excited in the new endeavour and I belive if given support by my colleagues in the region then I will play a significant role in ensuring we double our efforts in the region” he added
Francis Paul foray into the football which was aided by his resourcefulness ,commitment and connections to top personalities in the industry has placed him a good position for the vice president position.
He has a wealth of experience in the corporate world and is seen us someone who has the clout and know-how to secure huge financial deals for the Cecafa and its products.
