As part of pre-season training ahead of 2017 Kenyan Premier League season, Gor Mahia will play Sudan champions Al Hilal in a warm-up Tuesday, January 17th.

Gor will leave for Sudan Friday 13th, as confirmed by the Organising Secretary Judith Nyangi.

The 15-times champions will then return to prepare for another friendly in Uganda against opposition yet to be confirmed.

“I will keep you posted as we move on,” Nyangi said.

Last year, Gor beat Al Hilal by Enock Agwanda’s lone in a friendly played in the City of Port Sudan – marking tourism and shopping festival in the Red Sea Coast.

Al Hilal will use the friendly gauge themselves ahead of the 2017 CAF Champions league, where they will play Kenyan champions Tusker FC in the second round, while Gor are seeking to rebuild after a trophy-less 2016 season.
