Sudan crash Nigeria Super Eagles hopes

By Admin,

Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations became slimmer as they lost 1-0 to Sudan in Saturday’s Afcon qualifier played in Khartoum.

Sudan’s Falcons of Jediane, fueled by a deafening atmosphere and boiling temperatures inside Khartoum Stadium, brought down the African champions with a gritty display

Sudan’s goal was through a slick header by striker Bakri inside the first half forcing Nigeria to chase the game for the remainder.

The Super Eagles are now last in their Group with just one point and will now face Sudan in the return leg on Wednesday in Abuja
