Sudan’s Al Hilal Snaps up Uganda Cranes coach Micho

Sudanese side Al Hilal Omdurman have announced the appointment of Serbian Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic as head coach after a board meeting on Saturday.

Al Hilal ended the contract of their former coach Patrick Osimes last month.

“The board held a meeting on Saturday at the club headquarters in Omdurman and took many decisions and the most important was appointing Sredojevic as head coach for the team,” Al Hilal published.

The Omdurman-based club axed their former coach for the poor results before they elevated the coach of the youth team, Al Fateh Al Nekr, to position of caretaker coach.

Micho, 45, started his managerial career in 1994 and has previously worked with Al Hilal from 2010 to 2011 before he went to work as head coach for national teams of Rwanda and Uganda.
