Tanzania’s Taifa stars have dropped one place down in the latest Fifa rankings moving from 116th to 117th .

Tanzania are switched between Lebanon at 116 and New Caledonia at 118th and are ranked 34th in Africa sandwitched between Mozambique at 33rd and Equatorial Guinea at 35th.

Tanzanian football federation(TFF) recently terminated the contract of Danish coach Kim Poulsen replacing him with St.George coach Mart Nooj who is set to be unveiled on March 24th in Dar Es Salaam.

In January Taifa Stars were 118 improving to 116 in February before dropping to 117 in March .On March 5th they failed to play an International friendly contributing to the drop.
