Tanzania-Magufuli’s hammer hit TFF,Simba and Yanga in trouble

Tough talking newly elected Tanzanian President John Pombe Joseph Magufuli directive on taxes has hit the country’s Football Federation with their bank accounts closed following non compliance with the Tax collector TRA

The Tanzania Revenue Authority has turned the heat on TFF with giants Simba and Yanga falling prey to the hammer that the new President John Magufuli has inflicted that tax must be paid.

The President who campaigned on a campaign motto ‘Hapa Kazi to’ is keeping to his promise of ensuring taxes must be paid.

The new president ordered that tax must be remitted with those who fail to do so to face the full force of the law.

Tanzania Revenue Authority has closed the accounts of the Federation and has meanwhile turned the heat on Simba and Yanga including other premier league clubs as the wrath of John Magufuli on those defaulting landing at the Country’s Football Governing body.

Both the Msimbazi and Jangwani outfit may land in trouble over failure to remit their players (PAYE)

Both TRA partnering with Ilala Municipality have made real their threat and closed the TFF accounts in the spirit of ‘Hapa Kazi to’ a dictam the new president used when campaigning on the ruling party’s CCM.

TRA Senior officer Hamisi Lupenja said no club will be exempted and that no one or club will escape tge wrath of the law and accountability is key.

On their parts reacting to the issues,Simba SC Secretary General Enock Kiguha said they have started complying wit the directives while Stand United Chairman Aman Vicent was devastated man after hearing of the closure of the TFF accounts claiming the problem is like a disease and that all clubs will all be in trouble.

However both Azam and Mtibwa Sugar have invited TRA to come and audit their accounts with an Azam official Saad Kawemba saying TRA is free to visit them at Chamazi.Mtibwa Sugar CEO Jama Bayser on his part said they have always complied.
