23 Year old Tanzania Taifa Stars and TP Mazembe prolific striker Mbwana Samatta has his sights set on a move to either France or Belgium when his contract expires at his current club TP Mazembe in 2016 the talented player revealed to soka25east.com
Samatta who was signed from Tanzanian giants Simba in 2011 by TP Mazembe owner Moise Katumbi alluded to the fact that he had to be loyal to Mazembe and Katumbi for giving him a great opportunity to showcase his skills across Africa but in the same breath added that he felt it was time to move to Europe when he was still on top form.
“I Have always cherished my moments at TP Mazembe since signing for them and it has not been easy to move as the owner Moise Katumbi rarely sells players.I never wanted to be branded as ungrateful that is why i have continued working hard for them but as time goes i feel its time to make a move to Europe”
“I have a running contract that expires in 2016 and i will humbly request then when it expires to leave for either France or Belgium the two places i belive will suit my career.I have had so many offers come my way but i feel the time is now ripe to make the move because as we all know the career of a footballer is the shortest and its always appropriate to make good use of it”Samatta told soka25east.com
Samatta has scored some brilliant goals for TP Mazembe where he has played a key role in the starting team featuring 104 times for the Lumbubashi based side.
He is one of the key pillars at Taifa Stars playing an instumental role that has catapulted him as one of Tanzania’s best exports in a long time.
