This will be the 46th time these two teams, that shares the Zambezi river will be meeting witt Zambia boasting 16 wins while Zimbabwe has won 9, drawn 20 times.
Interestingly, Zambia has not beaten Zimbabwe in the last four games. Losing three and drawing one with the latest being the COSAFA encounter which Zimbabwe won 3-1.
There is an opportunity for Zambia to shift power and change these statistics as the two teams meet up in Ndola on Wednesday, to revive that rivalry that has always been when the two teams meet.
