The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the date and venue of the draw for the 11th edition of the African Women’s Cup of Nations.

The draw will be held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra on September 21, 2018.

In a letter released and signed by CAF Deputy General Secretary, Anthony Baffoe, read,” We acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated 4th October 2018, in which you confirmed the official draw of the 11th Total Women Afcon-Ghana 2018 will take place on the 21st of October, 2018 at 7hr 30pm in the Kempinski Hotel, Accra.”

“We will like to inform you that CAF approves the date and venue and will confirm this to the qualified teams.”

“On the other hand, a detailed letter with all the draw requirements as well as CAF official delegation on the occasion of the said draw will be sent shortly to the LOC in order to ensure that all the preparation are on place.”

Ghana are hosting the Total Women’s Afcon for the first time and will be joined by seven (7) other countries for the competition.

The competition is scheduled to commence form November 17 to December 1 and will be played across two cities, Accra and Cape Coast.
