Botswana Premier league champions Township Rollers  are fresh from winning a local 4 teams pres-eason tournament held in Gaborone over the weekend.

This result came just a week after crushing to hosts Al Ahly 3-0 who claimed their first group win at the Borg Al-Arab Stadium.The match was coach Patrice Carteron first game incharge of the Red Castle

In their pre-season tournament which also acted as preparations for the second leg match Rollers beat premiership side Extension Gunners and tournament host Matebejana to emerge victorious, wining 3-0 on penalties and 2-0 in the final

Township will go into match day four without the service of national team captain Semisane Mathumo due to accumulated cards , also missing from selection will be Mosha Gaolaolwe who also misses on accumulated cards

Rollers  coach Nicola Kavazovic was this week told www.soka25east.com in Gaborone “ Al Ahly game will define our fate in this year’s group stage . I believe we will have to fight with everything to get positive results on Saturday therefore we urge our supporters to come in large numbers and give us the moral support”.

Al Ahly the record  eight-time African champions will be looking to get a second win when they travel to face Township Rollers in the fourth round of the group stage. Al Ahly arrived in  Gaborone  on Tuesday.

Al Ahly now sit second in Group A with four points, three behind leaders Esperance Sportive de Tunis. Meanwhile, Rollers and KCCA each have three points.
