Nigerian Olanrewaju Kayode has attracted the interest of Russian Premier League sides CSKA Moscow and Lokomotiv Moscow.

According to his intermediary, Franz Herzog,the Super Eagles forward has the desire to move his career to Russia, a revelation that has not augered well with his Austria side.

However,Herzog has confirmed that the two big teams are battling for Olanrewaju signature and he will join a team that will table the biggest offer.

“Kayode really wants to play in Russia. Why not? Good clubs and excellent contracts. Now we are only at the very beginning of the talks,” Herzog told championat.com.

Kayode was the Nigeria’s highest scoring striker in Europe last season with 17 goals.

He made his debut for Nigeria in a 1-1 draw with Senegal in London that was played in March this year.

Kayode,has also played in the Ivory Coast, Switzerland and Israel, represented Nigeria at the 2009 and 2011 Fifa U-17 and U-20 World Cups respectively.
