U20 WC Preview: Hosts aim to win Group A as Guinea look to sneak into next round

Two wins out of two for host nation Korea Republic after the end of the second group games sees them comfortably at the summit of Group A.

A resounding 3-0 win against Africa’s representative Guinea on match day one and a follow up 2-1 win against Argentin ensured progress to the round of 16.

Led by the dangerous pair of Lee Seungwoo and Paik Seungho, Korea republic are very much looking like the genuine article.

Are they title contendors? Definitely you can’t rule them out. They are on course to maintain a 100 percent start to the campaign.

They face a plucky England tomorrow Friday 26 May at 13:00 hoping for victory to ensure they top Group A.

Guinea have not had a good campaign so far but victory against Argentina at the Jeju World Cup stadium could still see them sneak into the last 16.

Both games in Group A run simultaneously at 13:00 CAT.
