Uganda:KCCA’S Birungi Heading to Al Khartoum of Sudan

By Vicent Kakooza,

All plans have been finalised for KCCA FC’s enterprising forward Michael Birungi to fly to Khartoum and seal a move to Al Khartoum Al Watani.

Sources within the club have intimated to ska25east that Birungi will fly on Friday to finalise personal terms with the Sudanese side.

Although rumours have been that the yellow lad is heading for trials at the same club, impeccable sources within the club have confirmed to us that the 20 year old midfielder will not be subjected to trials.

It is said that Birungi caught the attention of the Al Khartoum technical bench headed by James Kwesi  Appiah during the Kagame Club Cup held in Tanzania between July and August 2015.

In fact he scored one and set up Muzamiru Mutyaba in the 2-1 win over the Sudanese club.  We have also learnt that Al Khartoum and KCCA have agreed on 50,000 USD as the buy-out price in this deal.

It is only left for Al Khartoum and Birungi to agree on personal terms to make the transfer complete.

If the deal materialises, Birungi will join another Ugandan also former KCCA player Salim Jamal Magoola who keeps the goal at El Merreikh
