By Ronnie Lusurile,

Ugandan winger Lawrence has landed trials with Turkish giants Fernabache F.C in January 2017.

This follows an impressive short stint with Cyprus’ Mormenekse FC, which he joined from Ugandan side Bright Stars FC in August, 2016.

The highly gifted winger pleased Fernabache scouts, in their 2-2 draw, in a league fixture away to Lefke Spor, last weekend.

Ndugga scored one of the goals and assisted the other taking his goal’s tally to two, with four assists in four outings this season.

After the match, the scouts immediately approached Mormenekse technical bench, and expressed serious interest in the player – offering him an opportunity for trials in January next year.

If all goes well, he will become the fourth Ugandan to play in Turkey – following in the footsteps of Magid Musisi (RIP), Hassan Wasswa and Martin Kayongo Mutumba.

Mormenekse are 10th on the table standings lead by Yaniemi, with four points.
