Uganda,Rwanda improve in Latest FIFA rankings as Ethiopia,Kenya,Tanzania stagnate

FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings  for the month of May are out and Uganda remains the best ranked team in East Africa.

Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi each moved a place higher in the rankings while Tanzania and Kenya stagnated.

Uganda moved from position 72nd last month to 71st, Rwanda climbed to 73rd from previous 74th while Burundi moved to position 112th from 113th.

Ethiopia is at number 101; Kenya and Tanzania retained positions 117th and 107th respectively. Sudan dropped a place from 110th to 111th.

Algeria 20th remains the best ranked team in Africa followed by reigning AFCON Champions Ivory Coast 23rd and Ghana at 26th.

The next rankings will be on 4th Jun 2015.
