Uganda Coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic has described Cranes qualification to the Gabon 2017 AFCON as “divine justice”.

Addressing the media after the match the Serbian who remained calm and collected said,the historic achievement was a culmination of hours of sleepless nights and hard work, and they deserved the sweet reward.

“We have worked extremely hard to achieve this, it is truly a divine justice to all of us.Everyone has done his part, from the technical bench, the players and management.” Micho said.

Flanked by his captain Geoffrey Massa he heaped praises on the goal scorer Farouk Miya whom he said has really grown fast in his career.

On his part Massa talked of character of the team which he said proved unbreakable.

“The players showed a lot of character despite the weight of the occasion. In my 13 years playing for the national team I have never felt like this, I believe we have finally matured.” The Boroka FC striker said.

Uganda Cranes beat Comoros 1-0 to finish second in group “D” with 13 points same as leaders Burkina Faso who enjoys superior goal difference. Cranes go through as one of the two best runner ups.
