Kisumu lakeside city soccer lovers summarized their weekend in style when the city played host to three entertaining matches yesterday sun 28/05/17.

Urusi FC punished another lakeside team Shauri Yako from Homa Bay 2-1 in a fifty- fifty battle game at Obunga grounds. Away at Kibos primary Amani FC ninth minute goal separated the two sides when they were enjoying home support against hard fighting Homa Bay Allstars in a match which ended with the solitary goal from Harrison Odhiambo.

While in kibuye, things were not easy for the host Kibuye United when they found themselves trailing two goals down by half time in a one sided match, the sugarmen, Transmara FC went a head to win the match by three goals to nil.

Away in Kinangop, AP Kipipiri were held one-one by Naivasha based Rainforest. It was the policemen who broke the deadlock before the stroke of halftime with a wonderful goal from Allan Baraza before Benard Owuor reduce the game with a last minute equalizer.

Next weekend 4/06/17, there will be a big battle dubbed Nakuru derby when in-form Egerton host Comply FC at Njoro while away in Homa Bay, The Stars will be welcoming Kisumu side Green Beret from Kodiaga same day.
