After close to two weeks of international break, the Ugandan top flight league returns this evening with four matches on the cards.

At Bugembe stadium, Alex Isabiye’s Kirinnya Jinja SS host defending champions KCCA FC in a match the home side hope to register the elusive first win of the season at Muteesa ll Stadium.

Mike Mutebi’s boys on the other hand will be looking forward to return to winning ways after falling 2-1 to Vipers SC in their previous outing.

Kirinnya are 14th on the log with 6 points while KCCA FC top the log with 18 points.

At Muteesa ll stadium, Wankulukuku, home side Lweza FC takes hosts on form Jinja side Sadolin paints FC in a match both sides are eagerly waiting to show case what they have gained during the international break.

Sadolin paints will be looking at youthful defender Kibirige Moses to close down lanky striker Karim Ndugwa whose strength mostly lies in the air.

Lweza are currently 10th on the log with 9 points while Sadolin are 12th from seven games with 8 points.

At Namboole in what is dubbed as the match of the day, fourth placed Sports Club Villa hosts Moses Basena’s Saints FC.

It will be Villa’s first match after sacking coach Deo Serwadda as they hope to return to winning ways with stand in head coach Shafiq Bisaso who is fresh from winning the independence cup after defeating Onduparaka FC 4-3 at the Betway Green Light Stadium.

Saints will be banking on veteran striker Wakaza Godfrey and utility Kenyan-born Marlon Tangauzi’s form to tame the Jogoos.

Saints lie in 7th position from eight matches with 11 points.

At the champion’s stadium in Matugga, home side Fred Kajoba’s Bright Stars FC takes on Video Anyau’s Bul FC in a game both badly need to consolidate their current positions after drawing in their previous matches against Saints and Police FC respectively.

Bright Stars will looking for inspiration assistant captain Lukooya Baker, Batte Sheif and Methodias Jungu’s form while Bul FC will be looking at Milton Kalisa’s recent form for glory in the absence of injured Buni.
