Ugandan champions Vipers FC and Zanzibar league winners JKU settled for a 1- 1 draw as the 2018 CECAFA Kagame cup began in the Tanzanian commercial city of Dar es salaam.
JKU took the lead in the 16 that minute through Abrahman Musa Abraham after a poor clearance from Bashir Asiku in the Vipers defence
JKU pressed on until the break but on resumption ,the Ugandans fought for the equalizer and they deservedly drew level in the 55th minute via Dan Serunkuma
The other group match between defending champions Azam and South Sudan’s Kator FC is ongoing
