ZESCO United Vs Kabwe Warriors
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
Tenant Chilumba has serious headechs coming into this encounter and he may be tempted to rest several players on his visit to Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to face ZESCO United for the first time as Kabwe Warriors manager. His thinking knowing of another big game coming in days will be crucial.
The Kabwe Warriors boss has the prospect of another big game over the weekend at home to Power Dynamos to contend with on Saturday. With extra pressure on his side after they were beaten 1-0 last weekend at Lweengu Sports complex by bottom placed New Monze Swallows, the next two games are crucial for TC and Kabwe Warriors.
Straight to the game, Chilumba should have already been told that Kabwe Warriors have a challenge of beating Zesco United in Ndola. They have not beaten United from 2006 in Ndola. Actually in the last 20 games, Kabwe Warriors only has two wins against ZESCO United home and away.
So with one eye over the weekend fixture against Power Dynamos as well as the pressure of keeping going down on the log table, things don’t look so good for Kabwe Warriors all of a sudden. There is something Chilumba is not getting right and for my own analysis it’s the combination from midfield to Attack. This has terribly failed in the recent games and TC has to find a very good formula of turning this season around.
That is the same challenge that ZESCO United are having and am sure George Lwandamina will be looking for one creative midfielder who will control and distribute the ball to better areas in the forth coming fransfef window.
But they have won their last three games and that is confidence enough. I don’t see Kabwe Warriors getting anything in this encounter.
While ZESCO United are struggling to get goals, the defence is managing the rear very well and remember what I always say. Strikers win you games but good defence wins you titles.
Kabwe Warriors has walked into the Lions den and I don’t see them getting anythingbout if it with anythingat LevyMwanawasa on Wednesday.
Prediction : ZESCCO United 2-1 Kabwe Warriors
