The 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League is getting exciting and keener week in, week out. Some clubs have tasted first defeat while others are yet to record a win this season.

There were 16 goals were produced and 18 yellow cards and 1 red card were issued by referees across all nine league venues.

Berekum Chelsea extended their unbeaten run after a hard fought 1-0 win over Ashanti Gold at the Lenclay Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Kofi Owusu scored the winner for the Bibires.

On Sunday, Hearts of Oak climbed to ninth after a thrilling fight-back in their 2-1 win over Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park with Bernard Arthur starting a second-half revival that saw Kofi Kordzi’s winner seal the points. 

Michael Sefah got a consolation for the Scientific Soccer lads.

Sulley Ibrahim’s goal was enough for Great Olympics to steal a point as they drew 1-1 with Sharks at the Nduom Sports Complex in Elmina. Benjamin Boateng got the leveller for the Sea Animals.

Yahaya Mohammed and Noah Martey were on target as Aduana Stars romped past well-off Legon Cities FC 2-0 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Inter Allies managed to clinch a point a West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) after the two sides played out a 1-1 stalemate at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Richard Acquah grabbed the opener for the Academy Boys by putting the ball into his own net before Victorien Adebayor pulled level for the Capelli Boys.

Asante Kotoko bounce back in style to beat strugglers Ebusua Dwarfs 2-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. Boths goals were scored by Matthew Cudjoe and Richard Arthur.

Dreams FC ended Medeama SC’s unbeaten run with a slim 1-0 win at the Theatre of Dreams. Ibrahim Issah got the only goal for the Still Believe lads.

King Faisal’s Mustapha Mohammed rescued a 1-1 draw at Karela United who had taken the lead through Kwame Boateng at the Akoon Community Park in Tarkwa.

On Monday, Eleven Wonders couldn’t make it two wins on the trot as they were beaten 1-0 by Bechem United at the Nana Gyeabour Park. Prince Adu Kwabena scored the winner for the Wonders.
