Yanga players unhurt after bus involved in Accident

Tanzanian giants Young African also known fondly as Yanga’s bus was today involved in an accident at Mikese Mizani area when a bus travelling on the opposite direction blocked their way.

The Yanga bus carrying players and officials lost control and plugged into a road side pit.

However the players and officials escaped unhurt and unscathed after the accident that shook most of them.

The accident happened at 9 am (Sunday) as they were travelling back to the Dar Es Salaam.Yanga who are the defending champions of the Tanzanian Vodacom Premier League last week lost on post match penalties to African champions Al Ahly away in Egypt after beating them 1-0 in Dar Es Salaam in the first leg of the Caf champions League.
