Tanzanian giants Yanga   progressed into the  CAF Confederation Cup group stage despite losing 1-0 to hard fighting Ethiopians Wolayta Dicha going through courtesy of a 1-2 aggregate scoreline.
Wolayta Dicha who stunned Zamalek knocking them out of the competition found the going rough in the first round game when they lost 2-0 in Dar Es Salaam to a well oiled Yanga side.
Needing to maintain the scoreline and avoid goals Yanga defence was impeccable in Ethiopia as the Dicha strikers mounted wave after wave of attack that paid off handsomely to give them  1-0 courtesy of a Djako beautiful goal.
The striker has been a thorn in the Yanga defence held steadily by skipper Kelvin Yondani who was making his comeback after suspension.Yanga held on surviving the scare to qualify for the group stage the second time in 3 seasons.
It was a great moment for Yanga who joined other Cecafa sides Rayon Sports,Gor Mahia and Al Hilal all who qualified for the CAF Confederations Cup group stage.
