The Gambia National U-20 Team have returned to their base at the Sea View Gardens Hotel in the city of Bakau to prepare for CAF U 20 qualifiers return leg match against Guinea slated for July 24 in Conakry.

The Young Scorpions guided by  Head Coach Ceesay is at camp with the usual 20 man squad. The team will be training  twice a day at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

In an interview with local press the Team Manager Pa Faye said that the team camp is full of zeal and confidence. “ The boys are aware of the task that is ahead of them because the return leg is just like a final for them. So we want the entire country to pray for us so that we can qualify to Zambia and i think this team can do it”.

The Gambia drew goal less to Guinea in the first leg of the final round of qualifier played on Saturday July 9th at the Independence Stadium in Bakau. The Gambia will travel to Conakry few days ahead for the return and final leg of the qualifier on slated for Saturday July 24th in Conackry.
