Zambia:Chiyangi will stay as Nkana boss-Mwansa

Nkana Club Secretary Kenny Mwansa on Sunday in an interview in Lusaka settled the uncertainity surrounding head Coach Aggrey Chiyangi.Mwansa said their will be no change in technical staff at Nkana

Chiyangi who is assisted by Zeddy Saileti and Fidelis Chulu took over the reigns at Nkana from Beston Chambeshi in may this year.Nkana only managed to rack up 41 points,winning only 11 times and losing 11 while drawing 8.

”Will not make any changes in the technical department.Aggrey Chiyangi will remain at the helm of Nkana’s technical bench.We are happy with his work”.Mwansa said

Mwansa also edged club faithfuls to rally behind the players and the technical bench if they want to see the desired results.”The fans should support the players and the technical bench if they want to bring back the glory days to Wusakile’s Nkana stadium (Chilata)”

Mwansa said the club had already started pre-season preparations.He also said contracts for Noah phiri and Claude Bwalya will not be renewed.

”Noah Phiri and Claude bwalya have been released by the club.Their Contracts expired and will not be renewed.We have brought in Aubrey Chamulwanda from Nchanga to replace Richard Kasonde who is heading to Zanaco ”.Mwansa said

”We are sending a number of young players on loan for them to gain game time” he further added.
